Funding for eligible 9 month, 2, 3 & 4 year old's

Babies

We offer the Working Parent funding for eligible parents the term after the baby is nine months old.

This can be Term time (38 Weeks per year) up to 30 hours per week or All Year (50 weeks per year) up to 22.5 hours per week.

2 Year Olds

For children aged 2 years, we offer 2-year-old funding for those eligible. Either Low Income or Working Parent funding, the term after the child’s second birthday.

This can be Term time (38 Weeks per year) up to 15 hours per week or All Year (47.5 or 50 weeks per year) up to 22.5 hours per week depending on which funding you have.

3 and 4 Year Olds

Universal Government funding is available for ALL eligible 3 and 4-year old’s. Children are eligible for the funding the term after their third birthday; this entitles them to 15 hours a week Term Time.

We also offer 12 hours a week on Universal Stretched Offer which covers most of the school holidays (This is for 47.5 weeks of the year – there is no funding during the Christmas Break and up to 3 weeks in August).

Extended 30 Hour Funding

Additionally, for children aged 3 years +, we offer Extended Term Time funding for up to 30hrs per week (38 weeks) or Extended Stretched funding of 22.5hrs per week (50 weeks) for those parents who are eligible.

To find out if you are eligible for any funding please log in to the website Best Start in Life - Best Start in Life and complete the application. They will provide you a code that will need to be passed to us to be able to claim the funding.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

We are also able to receive this additional funding for eligible children. This funding can be put in place to help with a specific area or need for individual children. If your child is eligible, our staff will discuss this with you and come to an agreement as to the best way to use this funding to help support your child.

Areas of support we can offer are as follows, although it will vary for each child

1-1/1-2 adult support sessions (10 minute sessions where possible)
Additional small group time
Uniform

These options and others that may be appropriate will be discussed and agreed with parents as well as monitored throughout the term.
